StartIT@PICS

StartIT@PICS is an entrepreneurship training program intended for all those who are in the initial stage of developing innovative IT products/services and wish to acquire new knowledge and skills related to starting a business, as well as get the help of successful mentors with extensive experience.

Individual work and collaboration

With PICS, everyone can develop their own projects, but help is always welcome. That is why members of the ICT County team are available throughout the year for all those that are interested, to help them develop projects, connect them with people who can help them with the development, as well as guide and support them in other ways.
If you are interested in this type of cooperation, contact us electronically or contact an ICT County employee in PICS for more information.

The best student projects

This program, started in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, rewards students who develop their own IT projects as part of their courses. At the beginning of the academic year, students select projects they will develop by the end of the semester with the help of the ICT County and their professors. The program ends with a final event where representatives of renowned local companies evaluate the participants’ projects, and the ICT County rewards the best-designed IT projects. In the first year of this project, this proved to be an excellent opportunity to acquire new knowledge, learn from real examples, and ensure networking between students and employers/entrepreneurs from the local IT community.
